PRC Group projects awarded in the ‘PR WINGS’ competition!
We’ve got it! The projects ‘NaJEŻeni w akcji’ (category: Engaging event) and ‘Zawód na Propsie’ (category: Corporate PR) were awarded in the prestigious PR Wings competition. Prominent experts from the PR and marketing communication industry who were part of the jury appreciated our projects by awarding them first place and also a distinction in turn.
PR Wings aims to identify and reward the most effective, creative and innovative projects in the field of broadly understood communication and PR in Poland. The competition is intended to help create an increasingly professional PR services market, based on the highest standards and consistently developing in all its centres in Poland.
‘Ones in action’
‘NaJEŻeni w akcji’ (hedgehogs in action) was an event carried out for CH Forum in Gliwice (MVGM Property Management Poland Sp. z o.o.), the main aim of which was to educate about the dangers that accompany urban animals and to help them by encouraging the region’s residents to act together. Several thousand people took part in the event, with Gliwice residents jointly building 100 hedgehog houses and an insect house. In addition to the house they built, everyone who contributed to saving the city’s animals also received special information plaques, which were then ‘buried’ near the conifer’s bedroom. Together with specialists from the ‘Our hedgehogs’ association, we held consultations on the adaptation of these animals in nature, and there were many ‘hedgehog attractions’ for younger animal lovers. In autumn, some of the hedgehog houses, together with the insect hotel, were placed in the city park, thanks to which on the one hand the wild animals could find shelter for the winter, and on the other hand they were a symbol of joint action for the benefit of nature: the shopping centre, social activists and residents of Gliwice. The campaign was supported by competitions in social media and also received a lot of media attention.
Profession on Props
The award-winning promotional campaign ‘Zawód na Propsie’ was realised by us for CMC Poland Sp. z o.o. in Zawiercie. Many young people and their parents still believe that high school education and eventual studies give a better chance of a good job. Our main objective has therefore become to reverse this trend and show that the profession of technician also offers good prospects, a good salary and an interesting job. As part of the project, we undertook a number of activities, such as launching the www.zawodnapropsie.pl website and Facebook page, preparing a series of films with our campaign ambassadors, and creating a computer game ‘Play in the steelworks’, available both on the Internet platform and from mobile devices (smartphone, ipad). The main objective of all the activities we undertook was, first and foremost, to increase interest in technical education, with the measurable effect of recruiting students to the various patronage classes.
