RULES OF THE CITY GAME “MONOPOLY KATOWICE”
dated October 23, 2021
Organizer.
- The organizer of the city game (hereinafter referred to as the “Game”) is Grupa PRC HOLDING Sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Katowice (40-311), at ul. Chłodna 2, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court in Katowice, VIII Commercial Division of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000756630, NIP: 954–279–87–14, REGON: 381754838, hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer.”
- The founder of the prizes and the Ordering Party of the Game is WINNING MOVES Sp. z o.o. with its registered office at Al. Grunwaldzka 472B, 80-309 Gdańsk, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000779724, with NIP (Tax Identification Number): 9542804018 and REGON (National Business Registry Number): 383191799.
- Employees of the Organizer or the prize sponsor are not eligible to participate in the Game.
Participants.
- Participants may compete in the Game individually or in groups of 2 to 4 people.
- One Participant may be a member of no more than one Group.
- Participants must not have any health contraindications that would prevent them from participating in the Game.
- Participants take part in the Game at their own risk and responsibility.
- The Organizer does not provide medical care or accident insurance for Game Participants.
- The organizer does not provide supervision for minors participating in the Game.
- Only persons over the age of 14 may participate in the game independently.
- Younger participants must be supervised by adults (at least one adult per group).
- Minors participating in the game without adult supervision are required to provide a statement signed by a parent or legal guardian consenting to their participation in the game (Appendix 1) before the game begins.
Rules of the Game
- In order to join the Game, an individual Participant, or in the case of a group of Participants, their representative, should send a registration form by text message to the following e-mail address: gramiejska@prc.pl, providing the first and last name of the Participant or Participants and a contact telephone number. Registration for participation in the Game is open until 22.10.2021 at 23:59.
- In response to the registration form, the Organizer will inform the Participants of the player number assigned to the Participant or group of Participants and the start time designated for the Participant.
- The game will start on October 23, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Spodek in Katowice (al. Wojciecha Korfantego 35) and is scheduled to end at 2:00 p.m. at the Resident Service Office (Rynek 1).
- Participants are required to arrive at the time specified in the email referred to in paragraph 2 above in order to confirm their participation and collect their game cards.
- Before the start of the Game, each individual participant or group of Participants will receive a game card in the form of a map with points marked on the city of Katowice. On the reverse side, the map will have marked locations for confirming the completion of individual tasks in the Game (collecting stamps at each location).
- During the Game, the Participants’ task will be to reach 7 (seven) locations marked on the game card, find the point marked “MONOPOLY Katowice” at that location, and obtain confirmation of reaching the point by receiving a stamp on the game card. In order to obtain the stamp, Participants will also have to answer questions about the city of Katowice or their knowledge of “MONOPOLY” games, and in addition, in 2 (two) locations, take a photo of the Participant or Group of Participants:
- in 1 location with the Katowice Spodek arena in the background,
- in 2 locations with the Katowice Market Square in the background
and tag these photos by adding the appropriate hashtags.
- The organizer will not reimburse participants for transportation and travel expenses.
- Participants in the Game may move around the game area in any way they choose, except by car.
- Participation in the game involves physical exertion.
- Group members must move around the Game area together and complete tasks together. If the Organizers or persons authorized by them determine that a given Group has arrived at a task point with an incomplete lineup, the Group will be disqualified.
- Being late for the start or end of the Game (arriving at the venue after the designated time) will result in the disqualification of the Participant or Group.
- In the event of a violation of these Rules by a Group, a breach of fair play, obstruction of other Participants in the Game, or destruction of clues at any time during the Game, the Organizer has the right to disqualify the Group in question. The Organizer’s decision in this matter is final.
- Registration for participation in the Game is tantamount to:
– confirmation that each Participant has read these Rules and agrees to participate in the Game under the terms and conditions set forth herein;
– each Participant’s consent to the processing of their personal data by the Organizer in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27.04.2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) – OJ EU L 119, p. 1;
– each Participant’s consent to the publication of the Participant’s image on the Organizer’s website and social media, and additionally the Participant’s first and last name if they receive a prize; - Participants have the right to change or delete their personal data from the Organizer’s database.
Selection of winners and prizes.
- Each individual Participant, and in the case of a group of Participants, one person from the group/its representative, shall receive a prize in the form of the board game “MONOPOLY KATOWICE” for completing the tasks specified in point III(6) of these Rules, subject to paragraph 2 below.
- The number of prizes in the game is limited to 100 (one hundred) board games. Every 10th (tenth) person or group who completes the game in accordance with the rules described in these regulations will receive a special edition of the game with dedicated Katowice game pieces.
- The results of the game will be announced and prizes awarded immediately after each group/individual participant has completed the game.
- The conditions for receiving prizes are: arriving at the last location, presenting a map with stamps collected from each location, presenting an ID card for inspection or, in the case of minors, presenting a student ID card and providing personal data: first name, last name, and exact address of each member of the Group.
- Prizes may only be awarded in kind. It is not permissible to pay the equivalent of a prize in kind in cash or to exchange it for another prize.
- If the prize is not collected at the place and time specified by the Organizer, or if the conditions specified in section e. are not met, the right to the prize shall expire.
- The Rules do not provide for the reallocation of prizes that have not been collected. Prizes that have not been collected due to failure to meet the requirements set out in these Rules shall be forfeited.
- The value of a single prize in the game is PLN 125 gross. The Organizer will award each Game Participant an additional cash prize equal to the amount of the flat-rate tax on the prize. The additional cash prize will be used to pay the tax.
Final provisions.
- The rules and regulations are available for inspection at the Organizer’s headquarters and on the website. https://prc.pl/regulamingrymiejskiej/
- In matters concerning the course of the Game not covered by these Rules and Regulations, as well as in the interpretation of these Rules and Regulations, the Organizer shall have the final say.
- The organizers reserve the right to amend the Rules and Regulations. Participants will be notified accordingly in the event of any changes.
- The personal data of Game Participants will be processed for the purpose of conducting the Game, selecting the winners, and awarding them prizes. Providing personal data and consenting to its processing is voluntary, but failure to provide such data or consent to its processing will prevent participation in the Game.
